Our lashing chains can be assembled to suit your requirements, choose your capacity, choose your length, and choose your style of hooks - All slings come with certification.

The ULS Lashing Chains with Hook Ends - Our chain assemblies and the fittings we use, are the same high quality that we use in our chain slings for Lifting, the Chain is rating to EN818-4 which means it is manufactured to the high specification required for lifting, this will give you the confidence to secure that very expensive load down to the trailer or Low Loader or inside a container etc.

We have tried to make it easy for you to purchase your lashing chains - we have 4 sizes of chains to choose from, giving your 4 different capacities. Our standard lashing chain is 1m long with a single grab hook on one end only, choose if you require the second end fitted with a grab hook - or swap over to Sling hook/Catches. Next, choose your extra metres of chain. now your chains will be assembled to your specification. The chains will automatically come with an identification metal tag fitted to the slings, it will show size, and capacity and be stamped with a unique serial number for traceability. Once you receive your chains, you have everything you need to start using the slings immediately.

Our Lashing Chains are rating in line with Standard EN12195-3, which means our lashing chains will have a metal identification tag attached to them. It is up to the user to calculate correctly his load and how many lashing chains are required - below is for indication only.

Useful information on the Inspection and servicing and testing of Lashing Chains with Hook Ends

On receiving your unused chains - Ensure that:

The lashing chain sling corresponds exactly to the order;

The inspection certificate or certificate of conformity has been supplied and is correct

Marking and lashing capacity stated on the ID tag of the lashing chain system correspond to the information given on the manufacturer's certificate

Before using your Lashing Chains with Hook Ends:

Inspect lashing chain slings for any visible damage or signs of wear or stretch - In case of doubt or damage do not use the lashing chains and have them inspected by a competent person.

Periodic thorough examinations:

Lashing Chains Only - to be examined by a competent person according to national regulations, at least every 12 months, (which is different to lifting chain assemblies). But depending on use this period can be shorter; e.g. frequent and rough usage.

As per EN 818, we recommend subjecting the lashing chain system every two years to a load test with the max. permissible lashing capacity, followed by a visual inspection, or another type of crack detection test (fluxing).

After unusual events, that could cause impairment to the lashing chain, it must be checked by a competent person (e.g. after exposure to uncontrolled heat, emergency braking, etc).
