Each chain block in the GT Viper series features a durable matt black finish as standard, and both the top and bottom hooks are equipped with heavy-duty catches for enhanced safety. Constructed using high-performance materials, these chain blocks are built for extra durability and long-lasting performance. The VCB Viper chain block range starts with a compact 500Kg capacity, and the industry-standard 3-meter Height Of Lift (HOL) and a 6-meter HOL version of the 1 ton chain block are readily available off the shelf for next-day delivery. For specific project requirements, other lifting heights can be supplied quickly upon request.

General Specification and Key Features

Each hoist is made with high-performance materials for extra durability.

- Matt black finish.

- Meets the W.L.L. performance requirements of BS EN 13157.

- Minimum break load 4 times the W.L.L.

- Grade 80 (T – Fine tolerance calibrated) load chain, meets the WLL performance requirements of BS EN 818-7.

- Electro galvanised calibrated hand chain.

- The sealed bearings in each unit ensure extra protection and allow complete repair flexibility.

- Top and bottom hooks with heavy-duty cast catches.

- For heights of lift above 12 mtrs, please consult ULS Lifting for technical advice and product guidance.

While fleeting or cross-hauling is not recommended practice, these items can be used in accordance with the specific safety guidelines for this purpose –please check manufacturer guidance before use.

Each GT Viper chain block is supplied fully tested and in excellent working order, complete with operating instructions and a relevant conformity certificate. To comply with national and international accident prevention and safety regulations, all hoisting equipment, including your chain blocks, must be inspected: in accordance with the operating company's risk assessment, prior to initial operation, before being put back into service after a shutdown, after significant changes, and at least once per year by a competent person.
