What Is A Pneumatic Air Lifting Bag?

A pneumatic air lifting bag, also known as an airbag or air lifting cushion, is a versatile and powerful tool used primarily in rescue operations, industrial applications, and lifting heavy loads. It operates using compressed air, usually supplied from an air cylinder or compressor - inflation of the bag increases its volume, thereby generating the lifting force.

What Are Pneumatic Air Lifting Bags Used For?

These quality-manufactured inflatable lifting bag systems can be used within any environment for lifting most objects. Commonly known as a pillow lift bag or rubber lifting cushion, these Kevlar air lifting bags have many uses and can be used to lift vehicles including cars, buses, trams, and trains. The airbag lifting system can even be used to adjust the height of a caravan or within the factory to help level machinery. Other uses for the pneumatic lifting bags are the ability to help with aligning objects within the mining or ground working industry and can be used within a quarry. Due to the very slim profile of the inflatable airbags, they are suitable for use in restricted or awkward spaces such as in-between granite or stones to help move them into position or split the granite/stone into smaller moveable pieces.

Traditionally designed as airbag jacks for cars and other vehicles, these airbag car lifts have been used in the vehicle recovery industry for many years due to their compact and portable design. The biggest advantage is that no power is required other than air to inflate the bag lifting system.

What Are Some Advantages Of Using Pneumatic Air Lifting Bags?

Some advantages include:

Lightweight and portable: Easy to transport and deploy.

Versatile: Suitable for various applications, including emergency rescue, construction, and maintenance.

Gentle lifting: Minimizes the risk of damaging the load being lifted.

Quick deployment: Can be set up and inflated quickly.

Powermat 8 Bar Lifting Bags

The Powermat inflatable air bag jack is a heavy-duty, high-pressure industrial lifting bag designed primarily for lifting vehicles and objects in emergency situations. When deflated, the Powermat has a very slim profile and low insertion height, making it suitable for use in restricted or awkward spaces and compact to store. Available in a wide range with 13 standard sizes with maximum lifting capacities from 1 tonne up to 68 tonne.

StakJak 8 Bar Lifting Bags

The StakJak high-pressure industrial lifting bag is a revolutionary flat-profile lifting bag for vehicle and heavy-duty lifting requirements. The flat profile of the StakJak has several distinct advantages over traditional ovoid-style lifting bags, the most significant being the ability to safely stack up to three bags together. This enables a greater lift height without the risk of sudden ejection or instability that is possible when stacking ovoid bags.
