80Kgs SWL Column Jib Crane c/w Electric Hoist is manufactured in the UK and is supplied complete with a quality 400volt Electric Chain Hoist and manual trolley, this saves you time in selecting which hoist and trolley to order. These 80kg I-Beam mounted Jib Arms are ideal if you require a crane suspended securely from an existing column, pillar, or stanchion within your building. The arm can be manufactured to any length between 2m and 6m and the arm is designed to slew through 180° giving a very wide working area. Please note that Anti-Slip measures must be taken to ensure the Jib Arm does not slip or move down the column it is attached to. The arm has a trolley already fitted, making it even more simple for connecting to your hoist, spring balancer, or vacuum lifter.

We have made it simple for you - To save you time and stress, we have put a Lifting Jib package together with both the 80kg Jib Arm and a quality Electric Chain Hoist 400 volt that fits directly onto the integral Push Travel Trolley inside the Jib arm - All you need to select is what height of lift you require on the hoist to suit your jib working height.

Full Electric Supply kit - If added to the order, everything is supplied that is required for installation of the jib/hoist. Within the kit are the main isolator, supply cable for the hoist (cut to a length suitable for the arm purchased), and the cable trollies to keep everything neat and tidy.

How does an 80Kgs SWL Column Jib Crane c/w Electric Hoist work?

A standard swing Jib as mentioned has two main parts - The Arm and mounting brackets. The arm can rotate from left to right and vice versa, the swing or slew angle is set at 180° as standard. On all our swing jibs up to 1,000Kgs, they will slew with ease without the requirements of powered assistance, hence keeping the costs down. The arm on our Jib cranes will be supplied with an integral push travel trolley, this moves along the full length of the arm, and the trolley gives you the freedom and flexibility to reach into corners of your factory with ease. 

What else is required for column Jib Crane? 

You now have your Swing Jib fitted. You now need a hoist of some type or a vacuum lifter or a spring/tool balancer, these fit easily to the trolley that was supplied already fitted within the jib crane arm. You just need to decide what hoist you need. To keep the costs down a manual hoist is the cheapest option, but you will not save on production time, as they are slow and do need assistance by hand, and sometimes for larger items, you might not be able to reach the hoist chain. The second option and best option is an Electric Hoist, these hoists enable you to easily lift and lower your components quickly, cutting down on production time, and it will soon pay for itself in time saved.
