Our 500kg Column-Mounted Jib Cranes are supplied complete with a high-quality 500kg Electric Chain Hoist (400V). This integrated solution saves you time by eliminating the need to select a separate hoist and trolley. These column jib cranes are ideal for applications where a crane needs to be securely suspended from an existing column, pillar, or stanchion within your building. The arm can be custom-manufactured to any length between 2m and 6m and is designed to slew through 180°, providing a wide working area.

Please note: Anti-slip measures must be implemented to ensure the jib arm does not slip or move down the column it is attached to. The arm comes with a trolley already fitted, making it simple to connect to your hoist, spring balancer, or vacuum lifter.

To save you time and reduce stress, we’ve bundled both the Jib Crane and a 400V Electric Chain Hoist that fits directly onto the integral push/pull trolley within the jib arm. All you need to choose is the required lift height for the manual hoist to suit your jib working height.

If added to your order, the Full Electric Supply Kit includes everything required for the installation of the jib crane and hoist. The kit contains a main isolator, supply cable for the hoist (cut to the appropriate length for your selected arm), and cable trolleys to keep everything neat and tidy.

How Does a 500Kg SWL Column Jib Crane with Electric Chain Hoist Work?

A standard 500kg swing Jib Arm consists of two main components: the arm and the mounting brackets. The arm can rotate from left to right, with a standard swing angle of 180°. All of our swing jibs, up to 1,000kg capacity, can rotate smoothly without the need for powered assistance, keeping costs down.

The arm is equipped with an integral push travel trolley that moves along the full length of the arm. This trolley provides flexibility and ease of access to hard-to-reach areas of your factory, allowing you to position and move loads effortlessly.

What Else Is Required for a 500Kg SWL Column Jib Crane with Electric Chain Hoist?

Once your Swing Jib is installed, you will need a hoist or a vacuum lifter, or even a spring/tool balancer. These can be easily mounted on the trolley already fitted within the jib crane arm.

The most economical option is a manual hoist, but while it’s cost-effective, it can slow down production. Manual hoists require hand assistance and may not be able to reach the hoist chain for larger items.
