The 250kg SWL Free-Standing Jib Crane with Electric Hoist (Over-Braced version) is a high-quality floor-mounted crane featuring a sturdy base plate. It comes standard with a premium electric chain hoist, powered by a 400V supply. The crane is supplied tested, certified, and assembled on-site as a two-part kit. The first part consists of the slewing jib arm, which the hoist is mounted on, and the second part is the upright pillar with the base plate that supports the swing arm.

Both the arm and pillar can be manufactured to any length between 2m and 6m, with the arm designed to rotate 270°, providing a large working area. The arm comes with a trolley already fitted, making it quick and easy to attach your hoist.

Optional Electric Supply Kit
For added convenience, you can purchase an Electric Supply Kit. If you choose this option, the kit includes everything required for the electrical installation of the jib and hoist. Upon delivery to the site, the concrete floor needs to be drilled, and the base plate secured with chemical resin anchor bolts. How Does a Swing Jib Crane Work?
A standard swing jib crane consists of two main parts: the pillar and the arm. The arm can rotate from left to right, with a swing or slew angle set at 270° as standard. On all our swing jibs up to 1,000kg, the arm can rotate easily without the need for powered assistance, keeping costs down. The arm is supplied with a trolley that moves up and down the full length of the arm, providing the reach and flexibility to access corners of your factory with ease.

Installation
As mentioned above, the 0.25-tonne WWL Free-Standing Jib Crane with Electric Hoist is easy to install. Once installed and the hoist is fitted, all that is left is commissioning, testing, and signing off the jib as safe to use. We are happy for our customers to handle the installation themselves or use their own installation team. However, we are also available to carry out the installation, hoist fitting, commissioning, and testing. We will not leave the site until everything is working correctly and safely.
