250Kgs SWL Free Standing Jib Crane - Over Braced version is supplied in a simple two-part crane kit that is lightweight in design and easy to install. Part one is the slewing arm which the hoist will move along, and the upright column that the swing arm attaches to. Both the arm and pillar can be manufactured to any length between 2m and 6m and the arm is designed to slew through 270° giving a very wide working area. the arm has a trolley already fitted, making it even simpler to connect to your hoist, spring balancer, or vacuum lifter.

How does a 250 Kg SWL Free Standing Jib Crane - Over Braced version?

A standard floor-mounted over-braced swing Jib as mentioned has two main parts - The Pillar and the Arm. The arm can rotate from left to right and vice versa the swing or slew angle is set at 270° as standard. On all our swing jibs up to 1,000Kgs, they will slew with ease without the requirements of powered assistance, hence keeping the costs down.

The arm on our lightweight profile style Jib cranes are supplied with a trolley, which moves up and down the full length of the arm, this trolley gives you the reach and flexibility to reach into corners of your factory with ease.

You now have your Swing Jib fitted. You now need a hoist, these fit easily to the trolley that was supplied free of charge with the freestanding jib crane.  You just need to decide what hoist you need. To keep the costs down a manual hoist is the cheapest option, but you will not save on production time, as they are slow and do need assistance by hand, and sometimes for larger items, you might not be able to reach them. The second option and best option is an Electric Hoist, these hoists enable you to easily lift and lower your components quickly, cutting down on production time, and it will soon pay for itself in time saved.
