The 250kg SWL Column Jib Crane, complete with an Electric Chain Hoist, is proudly manufactured in the UK. These column-mounted/clamp-around jib cranes come fully equipped with a high-quality 400V Electric Chain Hoist, saving you time by eliminating the need to select a compatible hoist for the jib. The 250kg column jib cranes are ideal for situations where you need a crane securely suspended from an existing column, pillar, or stanchion within your building. The arm can be manufactured to any length between 2m and 6m and is designed to slew 180°, offering a wide working area.

Please note that anti-slip measures must be implemented to ensure the jib arm does not slip or move down the column it is mounted on. The arm comes with a pre-fitted trolley, making it even easier to connect to your hoist, spring balancer, or vacuum lifter.

How Does a 250kg SWL Column Jib Crane with Electric Chain Hoist Work?

A standard swing jib, as mentioned, consists of two main parts: the arm and mounting brackets. The arm can rotate left or right, with a standard swing angle of 180°. All our swing jibs up to 1,000kg can rotate with ease without the need for powered assistance, keeping costs down. The arm on our jib cranes comes with an integral push travel trolley, which moves along the full length of the arm. This trolley provides the flexibility to easily reach corners of your factory.

What Else Is Required for a 250kg SWL Column Jib Crane with Electric Chain Hoist?

Once your swing jib is installed, you’ll need a hoist, vacuum lifter, or spring/tool balancer. These easily attach to the trolley that is already fitted within the jib crane arm. You just need to decide which hoist best suits your needs. A manual hoist is the most affordable option, but it can slow down production, as it requires manual assistance and may not be able to reach the hoist chain for larger items.
