Compact Skip Hook

These Grade 8 Compact Style Skip Hooks fit directly on the large 13mm Skip Chains to create a smaller skip hook with a smaller internal space that fits more snugly on the Skip Lugs and will not fall or slip off. In return, these smaller skip hooks give a safer and more secure lift. Supplied tested with certification for lifting. These Compact Skip Hooks, also known as Self Locking Hooks, are fitted with an automatic locking trigger mechanism that prevents accidental opening when under load. to open the hook to remove it from the skip lug is simple, just press the release trigger on the side of the hook, and the hook will split open.

These replacement clevis skip hooks are supplied with all the connecting pins in readiness to be fitted to the ends of 13mm grade 8 skip chain. Easy to fit by a competent person. ULS Lifting also offers replacement Skip Chains (contact us if you require the skip chains as well).

The Hook itself is a self-locking style hook meaning once closed the hook automatically locks tight around the skip lug and cannot open until the release button on the side of the hook is depressed.
