CZ Camlok Heavy Duty Vertical Plate Clamps, are great for companies with high demands on moving mild steel sheets and plates constantly during the working day. The CZ range of Camlok Vertical Plate Clamps are primarily used for transporting sheet metal and steel plates in the vertical position, as well as lifting sheets/plates and rotating through 180°. They can also be used for transporting steel constructions and profiles. For lifting longer plates using two Camlok vertical clamps we advise that the clamps are used in conjunction with a spreader beam to distribute the weight evenly, which in turn makes the plate being moved more rigid, which is safer.
CAMLOK LIFTING CLAMPS. QUALITY IN DESIGN, PERFORMANCE, AND SUPPORT - The name itself is world-renowned. Vertical plate clamps are known as Camlok, not plate clamps (which are similar to HOVER and vacuum cleaners, people know them as CAMLOKS)
Why Choose a CAMLOK Lifting Clamp - The 92 series is manufactured in the UK offering a top quality / performing clamp. Each clamp is fully tested before dispatch, which in turn gives the customer the satisfaction that he is using safe lifting equipment.

All Lifting clamps are shown with a lifting range (i.e. 100 to 1000Kgs WLL) and never exceed either the lower or higher limit when lifting.
NB -The plate surface of the material being clamped MUST have a hardness level below HRC 30 / Brinell 300 - the CZ range is recommended for all standard types of mild steel.
How do vertical plate clamps work? The jaw is opened and closed with the locking lever. The safety lock spring loads the cam jaw, preventing the clamp from opening even when there is no load on the jaw.
Where to use a plate clamp - Camlok plate clamps are your ideal choice to lift and transfer steel plates in fabrication plants, factories, warehouses, ports and docks, construction sites, railheads, and service facilities around the world.
Workmanship - All Camlok Plate clamps are Service Friendly, no specialist tools are required. Spare parts are kept on the shelf for quick service, maintenance, and repair, therefore, if you buy a clamp from the Camlok range, it should last you years. Please always have repairs undertaken by a qualified service engineer - Please contact us at ULS for further information on repairing plate clamps or any other lifting accessories.
The CZ range is easy to use - The jaw of the plate clamp is opened and closed with the locking lever, once locked the serrated teeth on the cam assembly grip tightly onto the sheet or plate, it is now ready to lift and the plate/sheet will not slip (if the correct plate clamp has been selected) from the jaw until the locking lever has been released.

Camlok plate clamps are your ideal choice to lift and transfer steel plates in fabrication plants, factories, warehouses, ports and docks, construction sites, railheads, and service facilities around the world.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
The maintenance schedule is based on normal usage of clamps operating in a workshop environment. Maintenance frequency must be increased if
clamps are subject to heavy usage or operated in adverse conditions.
Legal requirements on inspection and certification / usage
The definition of lifting equipment and lifting accessories used in LOLER make it clear that Plate clamps fall under the heading of lifting accessories. Unless a scheme of examination is in place already, all lifting clamps must be thoroughly examined by a competent person at intervals not exceeding 6 months.
Quality in design, performance and support. Camlok is the established industry brand for plate clamps and other items of lifting equipment. In fabrication plants, factories, warehouses, ports and docks, on construction sites, railheads and repair and service facilities around the world, the Camlok plate clamp and related products are the number one choice. The Camlok brand is over 50 years old and was founded on original, innovative British design and manufacture. It evolved from a general industrial need to lift and transfer steel plate either horizontally, vertically or a combination of both, in a secure and safe manner. This was achieved by using an ingenious 'cam' and jaw mechanism to positively lock the steel plate into a clamping device so it may be suspended from a crane hook. The original 'cam-lock' principle has led to the vast spectrum of lifting clamps available today, for example: plate clamps, beam clamps, rail clamps, girder clamps, piling clamps, scissor grabs and other handling devices. This heritage generated the capability and understanding for Camlok to lead the way in engineering special non-standard lifting solutions for technically demanding applications. All products are designed for easy repair and parts replacement, providing a lifetime of faithful service and performance and are manufactured in the UK to world-class standards. Hundreds of carefully selected and approved distributors around the world provide full advice, training, parts and after-sales services to ensure that Camlok lifting clamps deliver long life, reliable, productive and cost-effective performance -- wherever you are, whatever you do.
