Universal Tipping Skip - Heavy Duty

The ULS Universal Tipping Skip - Heavy Duty design has a 360-degree entry point for forklift trucks as standard. These top-quality UK-manufactured tipping skips are ideal for transporting waste and scrap materials from the factory, farm, or yard and are built to withstand heavy-use environments. Six sizes are available, starting with the 250 Litre Mini Tipping Skip, then the 500 Litre and 750 Litre tipping skips, The larger sizes start with the 1130 litre tipping skip, 1300 litre tipping skip and the largest tipping skip we offer 1750 litre. 

We class the universal forklift tipping skips as a heavy-duty tipping skip designed and build to handle workplace abuse, making it an ideal solution around engineering factories, production areas, construction sites and farms alike. Unlike most standard tipping skips our UTS range of tipping skips is supplied with a heavy-duty subframe with full access to the fork pockets from any angle.

Our universal forklift mountable tipping skips are ideal to save time for any company that has more than one forklift onsite, this is down to the unique heavy-duty subframe which allows the operator of any sized forklift or telehandler to pick up the skip from any direction. the four-sided extra-large fork pockets are manufactured from a heavy-duty box section offering maximum support for the tipping bin while giving 360-degree access for the forklift to enter the tipping skip. These are great space-saving skips. 

All UTS Universal Tipping Skips are automatic spring-loaded self-locking return, and fitted with heavy-duty release handles - Also supplied with a locking-off chain to help keep the tipping skip secured to the forklift. 

The whole range is manufactured in the UK, the tipping bin is manufactured from 3mm steel and fully seam welded to create a watertight skip (drain tap can be added)  a 5mm Version is available on request. 

As standard, the UTS Heavy Duty Tipping Skips are supplied with 2 coats of anti-corrosive primer with a thick topcoat to help protect the skip offering a longer lifespan when compared to lesser poor quality skips. various colours available, please ask if a specific colour is required.

Unique Tipping Mechanism on the UTS Universal tipping Skip

Our tipping skips are fitted with a spring return locking mechanism, which will auto-lock the bin back in place once emptied and returned to the loading position. To tip, the bin simply pulls back on the release lever located at the rear of the skip which is also the side closest to the forklift operator. once the lever has been pulled, the skip part will roll forward on its hinges and the content of the skip will be tipped. To stop accidental tipping, the release lever is fitted with an anti-tip collar that needs to be removed by hand before the lever can be pulled. This collar can also be locked off via a padlock (not supplied), which is perfect if the skip is being left unattended or if situated on unsecured building sites etc. 

The UTS Universal Tipping Skips are supplied with CE Mark, specification/warning labels and operating instructions.

A big advantage of the UTS Universal Tipping skips is that they can be modified to suit customer requirements.

The first and easiest optional extra are castors, once castors are added to a tipping skip it becomes a mobile tipping skip and can be slotted into tight spaces or in side factories or tool rooms where a forklift cannot reach. then wheel it out into a position where the forklift can pick it up and take it for unloading.

Mesh Sides and Tops can be added when extra height is required in situations where bulkier scrap is being loaded into the tipping skips.

Steel Lids - Sometimes tipping skips need the waste and scrap to be covered by a lid, ideal for wood chippings, dust, sand or similar light waste that needs to be protected from wind and other elements.

All Weather Skips - All our skips can be supplied with a galvanised finish, and stainless steel tipping skips are available on request.

Quick Release Chain or Pull Cord available - Once fitted operator can release the tipping lever without leaving the forklift seating position
