Telehandler Skip with Castors (HDTS-W) is an Autolocking Heavy Duty Telehandler Tipping Skip supplied with Castors as a standard feature. ULSLIFTING has been asked many times to add castors to our most popular Telehandler Skip. It is now available as a standard option, rather than an optional extra.

The Ultimate Lifting Solutions Telehandler Skip is fitted with heavy-duty swivel wheels allowing the skip to be moved around a site or yard when not attached to the telehandler forks. The wheels are capable of withstanding the standard everyday abuse that on-site skips have been designed for.

Why add Castors to a Telehandler tipping skip? Feedback from our customers suggests that by adding heavy-duty castors to the Teleskip gives ultimate flexibility, the skip can be rotated by hand easily, can be pushed into and out of tight spaces, and is generally much easier to get the skip into the right position.

Telehandler Tipping Skip with Auto-Lock and fitted with castors. TELESKIP – The Original Auto Locking Telehandler Skip delivers ultimate safety and efficiency by automatically locking and unlocking from behind the fork heels on the floating forks of any Telehandler. This allows the driver to remain within the safety of the telehandler cab with no worry at all about the skip slipping or falling from the forks when in use. Standard pallet width forks reduce the need for fork adjustment again reducing the need for the driver to exit the cab.  A large percentage of reported accidents involving telehandlers are related to the driver getting in and out of the machine, Teleskip helps reduce that risk.

The Teleskip contains 30% more steel than our main competitor resulting in a far more durable skip with the capability to withstand the harsh site conditions within which these skips are used.

Fully reinforced triangulated top edge – protects against direct impact from above (i.e. bricks being dropped into the skip), this dramatically improves the durability and life-cycle of the unit.

Full-length pocketed fork tunnels with 9mm steel reinforcement at the entrance to protect from careless/rough entry.

The gas strut itself is protected by the strut guard, a solid steel channel that not only protects the unit but gives simple access for maintenance

How Does a Telehandler Skip Work? Very simple design and easier to use - All the driver of the Telehandler needs to do is drive up to the telehandler skip and slide the telehandler forks into the fork pockets located at the back of the Telehandler skip. fully drive in until the skip heels are activated onto the back of the telehandler forks. The floating gas strut-supported fork heels become active once the tipping skip is raised off the floor and the telehandler tipping skip is locked into position and the skip is safe and securely attached to the telehandler, it will not slip, slide or fall off the telehandler forks. making this style of tipping skip safer than the standard tipping skips that use restraint chains to hold the tipping skip onto the forklift or telehandler. When the Teleskip is lowered fully to the ground, the auto-lock mechanism will disengage and the driver can reverse out and away from the tipping skip.
