Probst SG PGL2 Scissor Block Grab

Probst SG PGL2 Scissor Block Grab is an industry-leading fully automatic mechanical Block Grab designed for lifting and transporting unpalletized building materials such as breeze blocks, bricks, and kerb stones around construction sites. The SG80 PGL2 has a working load limit of 1800 kg and offers an extensive variable gripping range that can handle non-palettized packs from 400mm up to 1100mm due to its 1200mm long rubber-lined grippers. The grippers are fitted with rigid and long-lasting rubber to help grip and protect the load from being lifted and can be easily and quickly replaced if they become damaged. (The SG80 PGL2 is the new style of Scissor Grab from Probst, that replaced the standard Probst SG80 Scissor Grab).

The Probst Scissor Grab SG80 PGL2 is supplied without a suspension attachment and will require a suitable accessory - Various attachments are available from ULS Lifting for the SG 80 PGL2.

The most popular is the EH3000 Crane Ring - Once fitted to the SG 80 PGL2, this Lifting Eye (WLL 1800Kgs) will allow the scissor block grab to be used with any lifting crane on site or attached to a suitable snatch chain.

Forklift Fork Sleeve ET-D/B - Fixed forklift attachment complete with swivel connection, which will allow for manual rotation of the block grab, supplied with a security chain to avoid slipping.

Also available, is the simple adjustable Forklift Fork Hook Attachment ET-D - Supplied with a central lifting eye and fork pockets to suit Fork-lift or Telehandler. (Not presently stocked in UK)

Security Net SSN for the operation of SG grabs in high-rise construction is suspended underneath the load by hooking it into the handles of the SG grab.
