These STS1250 Forklift-Mounted Self-Tipping Skips are manufactured to order in the UK, with an approximate delivery time of 10 days. They can be supplied in most standard colours such as Blue, Yellow, Green, Brown, or Grey (other colours available on request). A restraint chain is included as standard to secure the skip in place and prevent slipping during use.

The tipping skip body features additional reinforcement around the bucket rim and fork pocket entry points, making it one of the most robust skips on the market. This design ensures strength and stability at key stress points, helping to extend its lifespan. It is the perfect solution for storing and transferring materials or waste, keeping workspaces clear and tidy.

Tipping Skip Optional Extras

• Heel Pins can be fitted to all Tipping Skips. Simply swap the restraint chain for the more secure heel pins to prevent the skip from sliding off the forklift.

• Lifting Lugs can be added to all Tipping Skips, allowing them to be safely lifted using a hoist or crane.

• Castors can be added to all Tipping Skips, making it easier to position them in tight or awkward spaces, or to reposition them for forklifts.

• Steel or Canvas Lids can be added to all Tipping Skips to protect the contents or keep them dry.

• Mesh Sides can be fitted to all Tipping Skips to increase their volume capacity.

• Drain Tap & Baffle Plate can be added to all Tipping Skips, making them easier to clean and preventing rainwater accumulation if the skip is left outside.

• Push Handles can be added to all Tipping Skips. If castors are also added, the push handle provides further convenience when repositioning.

What are the design differences between the standard skip and the heavy-duty tipping skip?

The Standard Forklift Tipping Skip features a folded back lip around the bucket area. This double-folded lip adds extra strength, helping the skip maintain its shape over time. It's ideal for use on construction sites, factories, and other settings where tipping skips are used for waste materials like steel, rubble, bricks, roof slates, installation materials, wood, and plasterboard.

The HDI Heavy Duty Industrial Tipping Skip, on the other hand, is constructed from a thicker material and features a simpler folded edge. This design is all that’s needed to provide the heavy-duty skip with the strength and durability required to withstand the harsh conditions of construction sites.
