The FLTS 2013C Crane and Forklift Tipping Skip is a high-quality, robust solution for moving waste or materials around factory floors, construction sites, or any environment requiring the storage and transportation of loose materials or scrap. Fitted with lifting lugs as standard, it can be easily used with a tower crane or overhead crane. The key feature of the Crane and Forklift version is its four certified lifting eyes/lugs, which allow for quick and safe movement of materials from high levels to ground level.
The FLTS 2013C Tipping Skip stands out among other manufacturers' tipping skips, as well as our own standard models. It is equipped with fixed heel pins as standard across all four sizes. These heel pins ensure that once the skip is correctly positioned on the forklift forks, it is securely fastened and will not slip or slide off, eliminating the need for additional safety restraint chains.
A key advantage of the 2013 range of tipping skips is its four-way fork pocket entry. This feature allows the skip to be placed exactly where needed and enables it to be lifted from the front, rear, left side, or right side, providing maximum versatility for handling and transportation.

What is the difference between a crane tipping skip and a standard tipping skip?
The Crane Tipping Skip is fitted with four top lifting lugs, which are securely welded to the rim of the bucket. These lifting lugs are tested and certified, making the tipping skip liftable by a crane. This means you can lift or lower materials or waste up and down any construction site, or from different levels within a factory.
What is the difference between the tipping skips supplied by Ultimate Lifting Solutions Ltd?
The main difference between our tipping skips is the material they are made from. Our standard Forklift Tipping Skips are manufactured in the UK using 3mm quality steel plate, while our Heavy Duty Tipping Skips are made from a thicker 5mm plate. The advantage of the standard DTS Tipping Skip is that it is lighter, making it easier to manoeuvre around the factory or site. It is better suited for smaller forklifts. On the other hand, the HDI Heavy Duty Industrial Tipping Skip, made from a heavier gauge steel plate, is more durable and suited to construction sites where larger, heavier waste products are added.
What are the design differences between the standard tipping skip and the heavy-duty tipping skip?
The DTS Tipping Skip is manufactured with a folded back lip all around the bucket area. This double-folded lip adds extra strength to the entire skip, helping it maintain its shape for a longer period. This design makes the skip suitable for construction sites and factories where it will be used to handle waste materials such as steel, rubble, bricks, roof slates, insulation materials, wood, and plasterboard. The HDI Heavy Duty Industrial Tipping Skip features a thicker body material and a simpler folded edge. This design provides the strength and durability required to withstand the demanding conditions on construction sites.
